Some products in our store may be available as subscriptions, pre-orders, or other special purchase arrangements. This policy explains how these purchase options work and how you can manage, change, or cancel them.


SECTION 1 - SUBSCRIPTIONS

1.1 THRIVE Fitness App Subscription

What It Is: The THRIVE Fitness App subscription provides full access to AI coaching, advanced analytics, and all premium features for your THRIVE products including HELIOS Smart Ring and smart lights.

Subscription Details:

  • Cost: $14.99/month
  • Free Trial: 30 days free (cancel anytime during trial without charge)
  • Billing: Automatically charged monthly to your stored payment method
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews each month until cancelled
  • Required For: Full functionality of HELIOS Smart Ring and integration with smart lights

1.2 How Subscription Billing Works

When you purchase a THRIVE Fitness App subscription:

  • Your payment method is securely stored
  • You're charged monthly on the same date each month
  • You'll receive email receipt for each billing cycle
  • Subscription continues until you cancel

1.3 Managing Your Subscription

To View or Manage Your Subscription:

  1. Open the THRIVE app on your phone
  2. Go to Settings > Subscription
  3. View billing details, payment method, and next billing date

To Cancel Your Subscription:

  1. Open the THRIVE app
  2. Go to Settings > Subscription > Cancel Subscription
  3. Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation
  4. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period

  • Via Email: Contact info@thrivecycling.io with subject "Cancel Subscription - [Email Address]"
  • Via Order Confirmation: Click the subscription management link in your original order confirmation email

1.4 Subscription Cancellation Terms

  • Cancel Anytime: No cancellation fees or penalties
  • Immediate Effect: Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle
  • Access Retained: You keep full access until the end of the paid period
  • No Partial Refunds: Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable
  • Re-Subscribe: You can reactivate your subscription anytime through the app

1.5 Failed Payments

If your subscription payment fails:

  • We'll attempt to charge your payment method up to 3 times over 7 days
  • You'll receive email notifications about payment issues
  • Your subscription may be suspended if payment cannot be processed
  • Update your payment method in the app to restore access
  • No late fees or penalties for failed payments

1.6 Subscription and Product Returns

Important: If you return your THRIVE product(s):

  • You should cancel your subscription separately
  • Returning a product does NOT automatically cancel your subscription
  • Subscription fees remain your responsibility until cancelled

SECTION 2 - PRE-ORDERS

2.1 What Is a Pre-Order?

A pre-order allows you to purchase products that are not yet in stock or are soon-to-be-available. This includes:

  • HELIOS Smart Ring (Pre-order: estimated to ship mid-July 2026)
  • Limited edition products
  • Upcoming product releases

2.2 How Pre-Orders Work

Payment:

  • Full payment is collected at the time you place your pre-order
  • Payment secures your place in the production queue
  • Your payment method is charged immediately (or first Afterpay installment if using payment plan)

What You Receive:

  • Immediate order confirmation email
  • Order number and estimated shipping date
  • For HELIOS: Free sizing kit shipped 2-3 weeks before final product
  • Shipping notification when your order is dispatched

2.3 Pre-Order Shipping Timeline

HELIOS Smart Ring Pre-Orders:

  • Estimated Ship Date: mid-July 2026 (estimate only, not guaranteed)
  • Sizing Kit: Ships 2-3 weeks before final product
  • Delivery: 3-7 business days after shipment (varies by location)

Shipping Date Changes:

  • If shipping dates are delayed beyond our estimated shipping window, we will notify you via email
  • You'll have the option to keep your order or request full refund
  • We'll provide regular updates if delays occur

2.4 Cancelling Pre-Orders

Before Shipment (any time before your order ships):

  • Cancel Anytime: Full refund, no questions asked
  • How to Cancel: Email info@thrivecycling.io with subject "Cancel Pre-Order - [Order Number]"
  • Refund Timeline: 5-7 business days to original payment method
  • Afterpay: Remaining payments cancelled; paid amounts refunded per Afterpay policies

After Shipment:

  • Pre-orders cannot be cancelled once shipped
  • 30-day money-back guarantee applies from delivery date

2.5 Pre-Order Changes

Changing Your Pre-Order: You can modify certain aspects of your pre-order before it ships:

Can Be Changed:

  • Ring finish (Black, Silver, or Gold) - contact us ASAP
  • Shipping address (before sizing kit ships)
  • Adding protection plans

Cannot Be Changed:

  • Ring size (after sizing kit confirmation)
  • Removing or changing payment method (payment already processed)
  • Cancelling bonus items separately

  • Include your order number and requested changes
  • Changes must be requested before your order ships

2.6 Pre-Order Refunds

Refund Eligibility:

  • Full refund: Cancel anytime before shipment
  • 30-day money-back guarantee: After delivery, return within 30 days
  • Defective products: Immediate replacement or refund

What Gets Refunded:

  • Full product purchase price
  • Applicable taxes
  • Optional protection plan fees (if pre-order cancelled before shipment)

What Doesn't Get Refunded:

  • Shipping costs (though pre-orders have free shipping)
  • THRIVE Fitness App subscription fees (cancel separately)

4.4 Afterpay Terms

If using Afterpay for pre-orders or purchases:

  • 4 equal installments, paid every 2 weeks
  • First payment at checkout, remaining 3 over 6 weeks
  • Missed payments may incur fees from Afterpay
  • Cancellations/refunds must also be managed through Afterpay

SECTION 8 - SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES

8.1 Product Recalls

In the event of a product recall:

  • All affected customers notified via email
  • Automatic cancellation of subscriptions if product returned
  • Full refund including all subscription fees paid
  • Recall terms supersede standard cancellation policies

8.2 Service Interruptions

If THRIVE Fitness App experiences extended downtime (>48 hours):

  • Subscription charges may be credited or refunded
  • You'll be notified of any service credits
  • Standard cancellation terms still apply

8.3 Account Termination

THRIVE reserves the right to cancel subscriptions and orders if:

  • Fraudulent activity detected
  • Violation of Terms of Service
  • Repeated chargebacks or payment disputes
  • Abusive behavior toward staff

In such cases:

  • Subscription immediately cancelled
  • No refund of current period fees
  • Pre-orders may be cancelled with full refund
  • Account permanently banned
